As part of the MATC Employee Health and Wellness Program, blood pressure screenings are offered once a month at Commercial Avenue, Downtown Education Center and Truax with periodic visits to other MATC campuses upon request.
Why should you have your blood pressure checked?
Almost one-third of adults have high blood pressure, however one in three of these individuals do not even know they have high blood pressure (hypertension) because there are no symptoms.
