Madison Increases Parking Fine Fees

The city of Madison has increased all of its parking fine fees effective this year. Because of this increase, the fine for receiving a parking ticket is now $40 (up from $20).
The city has done this to keep up with the cost of processing these tickets (i.e., court costs, etc.) and to make illegal parking more of a financial burden.
