Some Enchanted Evening, featuring the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein, will be performed at MATC’s Mitby Theater on Sunday February 25 at 2 p.m. The pre‑show luncheon buffet, prepared by our culinary students under the direction of Chef Joseph Gaglio, begins at 12:30 p.m. Tickets for lunch and show are $35.50. Although the production features a dreamy set and luscious costumes, the songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein don’t need gimmicks and special effects - just five winning performers who will fall in love with each other and with the songs and then share all of this love with an audience.
The show is produced by Springer Theatricals, the national touring arm of the celebrated Springer Opera House, the 135 year‑old National Historic Landmark theatre in Columbus, Ga. The Springer is also the State Theatre of Georgia and produces a year‑round schedule of plays, musicals and a top ranked Academy of Theatre Arts. The theatre has one of the nation’s busiest touring schedules, performing in over 60 American cities.
