February 16, 2007 | Editor

Thank you to more than 250 faculty members who have already completed the TEXTBOOK SURVEY! (That’s 20% of all eligible faculty members!)

If you have not yet done so, please complete the five-minute survey and continue to encourage students to do so as well. (More than 1,500 students have completed the survey. That’s 14% of all eligible students.)

The survey will be live through February 23.

The TEXT BOOK SURVEY for FACULTY may be completed at http://matcmadison.edu/research/textbook/faculty

The TEXT BOOK SURVEY for STUDENTS may be completed at http://matcmadison.edu/research/textbook/student

The surveys also are linked from Inside MATC. If you encounter any technical difficulty with the survey or need accommodations to take the survey, please contact Institutional Research and Effectiveness at 608-246-6412.

The Textbook Initiative is sponsored by the MATC Student Senate with assistance from the Institutional Research & Effectiveness Department and is endorsed by the College Council.

It is the objective of the MATC Student Senate, in cooperation with the college, to enhance and improve services for students. As such, the Senate has a goal to create the best possible system in which students at MATC can afford to access, borrow, rent or purchase new and used textbooks.
