MATC Hosts the WTCS Tech Expo

Tech Expo is Wednesday, April 11, at MATC’s Downtown Education Center and the Concourse Hotel. Breakfast and check‑in is at 8:30 a.m.; programs begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. Registration fees include lunch. The deadline to register is March 30.
The Expo is for any MATC employee who is interested in technology for teaching and learning.
Plenary sessions run throughout the day covering topics from Breeze web‑conferencing to games templates to WTCN‑ITV.
Mark Prensky, founder and CEO of Games2Train and author of “Don’t Bother Me Mom‑I’m Learning,” will present the keynote address at the 11:30 a.m. luncheon at the Concourse Hotel. He coined the terms “digital natives, digital immigrants,” and he is considered a visionary in the field of elearning. He will present “Engage Me or Enrage Me‑Educating Today’s Digital Native Learner.”
