East Washington Construction Update
March 22, 2007 | EditorHere’s the planned work for the week of March 26, for East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street)
- Continued work in the median for temporary crossovers
- Temporary signal work at Fourth Street, North/Milwaukee Street, East Johnson Street and Marquette Street
- East Johnson Street at East Washington Avenue is closed on until Tuesday 3/27 for installation of sanitary sewer and water main
- Sanitary sewer work on Webb Avenue
- Bridge work near the Starkweather Creek
- Temporary asphalt work in the median
- Work by private utility companies
Bus stops will be maintained in the construction zone, See Metro website or project website - “Metro Transit During Construction” for details.
There will be no parking on East Washington Avenue in the construction zone. Alternative Routes are I90/94 and the beltline.
