On Wednesday, April 11, from 1 ‑ 2 p.m. MATC will be subscribing to an Internet seminar entitled, “Going Beyond Study Abroad: Developing Global Competence.”
The program is developed by NAFSA: Association of International Educators and will feature best practices for integrating international experiences in the classroom and home campus. This program is an effort to recognize that only a small percentage of most students will participate in study abroad programs, and seeks to answer the question of how to develop meaningful international experiences for those students who do not leave home.
