Math Club will host its first annual Sudoku Festival on April 26-27.
- Thursday April 26
3:30 p.m., Truax, Room 321:
“Do You Do Sudoku?” by Professor Jane Tanner, SUNY Onondaga
- Friday April 27
9 a.m., Mitby Theater:
“Sudoku: Questions, Variations and Research,” Professor Laura Taalman, James Madison University
10:30 a.m.: “Who Wants to be a Sudoku Master?”
A Sudoku-solving competition for high school students. Top prize is $1,000! Presented by MATC math faculty and Professor Jonathan Kane, UW-Whitewater. Finalists for this event are from: Baraboo, Chilton, Deforest, Eau Claire North, Edgewood, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, Ithaca (Richland Center), Madison East, Oregon and Pardeeville
