Weekly AQIP Data Analysis Team Update - April 23, 2007

April 24, 2007 | Editor

Work is continuing at full speed on the analysis of the 90 proposals from our March 13 AQIP Vital Focus Conversation Day.

The list of “Just Do It” items has been sent out to managers for a response on the ideas which were offered as quick fixes. Once managers respond, the information will be posted on our AQIP website. Responses may include information on the suggestion and how it will be done, or why it cannot.

The team’s major work is being done on the creation of 9 project statements based on 9 themes that emerged from the Vital Focus conversation proposals. The themes from which projects will be selected are: communication, partnerships, innovation, cultural issues, alternative deliveries, technology, hiring, services for students, and master planning.

The 9 project statements will be presented to college employees for feedback during listening sessions May 1-10. Members from the data analysis team will present the project statements that they created and Dr. Barhorst and members of the College Council will listen to feedback and discussion on the project ideas. The Data Analysis Team will review the feedback and make possible adjustments. The College Council will be presented with the final list on May 17 and will decide on 5 of them as projects for the college wide improvement process.
