Jackye Thomas to serve on Gov. Doyle’s Task Force on Campus Safety
June 6, 2007 | EditorJackye Thomas, counceling services director, has accepted a nomination to Governor Doyle’s Task Force on Campus Safety.
“I am honored to make a contribution in this way based on my experiences here [at MATC] and as a counselor at University of Wisconsin.” says Jackye.
The task force, created by Executive Order #196, was formed in response to the events at Virginia Tech and is an effort to take proactive steps to make improvements and ensure safety on the state’s campuses. For more information on the task force see the Executive Order.
