RE: ONE CARD MEAL PLAN DATE: JUNE 11, 2007
MATC Foodservices and the OneCard office have just finished a test pilot program using the MATC OneCard as a payment vehicle at MATC’s Foodservice outlets (Howling Wolf Café, Snack Bar, DTEC Café, and the Wolf Pack Den). This pilot program has been very successful and the Foodservices and OneCard office are now ready to offer the program to all faculty and staff.
What is the OneCard Meal Plan? The OneCard Meal Plan is a convenient way for you to pay for your meals and snacks at MATC’s Foodservice outlets. By joining the OneCard Meal plan you will be given a 5% discount on all food or beverages purchased at the Foodservice outlets.
How do I join the OneCard program? To join the program all you need to have is a valid MATC OneCard and make an initial deposit of $50 into your OneCard account. Deposits will be accepted beginning June 11, 2007, at the Howling Wolf Café (cash only), or the OneCard Office with a check or credit card. After the initial deposit you may refill your card with as little as $20.
How does the OneCard Meal Plan work? Just present your OneCard to the cashier at the time of purchase and tell them you are on the Meal Plan. The cashier will ring up your sale and slide the card through the reader. This sale will be subtracted from your balance and a receipt will be printed. Your receipt will inform you what you purchased, what your discount was, and what the remaining balance of your account is.
Do not hesitate, sign up now, with the cost of gas a 5% savings on your meal purchases can only help.
