RE: DEAN OF BUSINESS AND APPLIED ARTS
DATE: June 25, 2007
Please help me welcome Kathleen Radionoff to MATC as the new Dean of Business and Applied Arts.
Kathleen is coming to MATC from Cardinal Stritch University where she has served as the Dean of the College of Business for the past four years. In this position, Kathleen was responsible for 3,000 adult students enrolled in both online and campus-based programs. She worked with her team to successfully complete a major restructuring of the College of Business addressing student retention, service, and academic quality concerns. During her tenure as Dean for the College of Business, the division achieved record enrollments for the College. As Dean, Kathleen was responsible for a twelve million dollar operating budget, 660 full and part time faculty, and the operations of regional learning centers in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Kathleen’s experience has also included serving as the Regional Director of Philanthropy for Aurora Healthcare in Burlington, Wisconsin where she managed a regional community relations and philanthropy program. She served as the Executive Director of Kindercare, Inc. in south Milwaukee where she led a management turnaround of the organization and was recognized by the Milwaukee Business Journal as an outstanding executive for her work which included increasing the organization’s revenues by 300% and successfully administering a fundraising campaign resulting in resources to build new facilities for the program.
Kathleen also worked for Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin as well as Goodwill Industries of the Greater East Bay area in California. She served as the Director of Marketing and Planning in Wisconsin and the Director of Retail Operations, Marketing and Administration in California. In both positions, Kathleen positively impacted struggling organizations resulting in substantive revenue growth through collaborative planning, marketing, and management strategies.
Kathleen earned her bachelors degree in Marketing and Transportation from Michigan State University. Kathleen earned her Masters in Business with a marketing emphasis from the University of Minnesota and a second Masters in E-Business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is currently working on her doctorate degree through Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Management and Marketing.
Kathleen has been an instructor through the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Extension and the University of Phoenix. She has taught courses in E-Marketing, Marketing, Research, E-Business, Research, Communications, and Non-profit Marketing.
I am confident the experience Kathleen brings to MATC will help guide the Center forward into the future. Kathleen’s first day will be Monday, July 2.
