Here’s the planned work for the week of July 16 for East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street)

Stage 4 - Reconstruction of the inbound lanes from 3rd to 7th Street:

• Removal of existing pavement and grading
• Water main construction
• Sanitary Sewer construction

Stage 2 - Reconstruction of the outbound lanes from Milwaukee Street to Marquette Street:

• Concrete Paving: median lane paved early next week, intersection work
• Marquette Street anticipated to be closed on Tuesday 7/17 thru Friday 7/20 for concrete paving
• Bridge work for the new pedestrian structure, and work beginning on the north side of East Washington Avenue
• Work by private utility companies

Bus stops will be maintained in the construction zone, See Metro website or project website - “Metro Transit During Construction� for details. There will be no parking on East Washington Avenue in the construction zone. Alternative Routes are I90/94 and the beltline. The field office phone is (608) 242-7305, fax is (608) 242-7317.
