Here’s the planned work for the week of July 20 to 23: Milwaukee Street Closure

• MILWAUKEE STREET WILL BE CLOSED at East Washington Avenue from 6 p.m. Friday, July 20, thru 6 a.m. Monday July 23, for final grading and asphalt paving. There is no signed detour please use alternate routes.

Here’s the planned work for the week of July 23 for East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street)

Stage 4 – Reconstruction of the inbound lanes from 3rd to 7th Street:

• Water main construction
• Sanitary Sewer construction
• Sanitary sewer and water services
• Storm Sewer construction
• Grading
• N. 4th Street will be closed on Tuesday 7/24 thru Friday 7/27 for storm sewer
• Work by private utility companies

Stage 2 – Reconstruction of the outbound lanes from Milwaukee Street to Marquette Street:

• Concrete – curb and gutter, sidewalks and driveways
• Topsoil and sod
• Electrical work
• East Johnson Street closure to East Madison Shopping Center for concrete work
• Bridge work for the new pedestrian structure, and work on the north side of East Washington Avenue
