MATC Matters

Here’s the planned work for the week of July 30 for East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street):

Stage 4 - Reconstruction of the inbound lanes from 3rd to 6th Street:

• Sanitary sewer and water services
• Storm Sewer construction
• Grading
• Concrete paving anticipated late in the week
• Work by private utility companies

Stage 2 - Reconstruction of the outbound lanes from Milwaukee Street to Marquette Street:

• Concrete - sidewalks and driveways
• Topsoil and sod
• Asphalt pavement on the side roads
• Electrical work
• Bridge work for the new pedestrian structure, and work on the north side of East Washington Avenue
