New Afro-Caribbean ensemble course offered
August 8, 2007 | EditorBeginning this fall, a new Afro‑Caribbean Ensemble course will be offered at the Truax campus. With particular emphasis on West African, Cuban, and other Caribbean drumming styles, this fun, high‑energy ensemble is a great new hands‑on way to learn about music at MATC, and no prior experience playing or reading music is necessary! The group will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 to 11:50 for rehearsals and is open to all interested students, staff, and faculty. For more information, contact Brian Short at 246‑6055.
