Everyone loves payday. Payroll is an extremely important and basic component of every worker’s life. Yet the processing of this crucial transaction is something many workers take for granted.
Payroll is one of the most highly regulated operations of any business. It is much more than simply figuring x amount of hours at y amount of money equals z amount of pay. There are numerous and complex withholding tax regulations that vary from state to state.
Despite these challenges, payroll professionals calculate each paycheck accurately and on time, every time. For this, we salute all payroll professional during National Payroll Week, September 3 - 7, 2007.
