MATC Matters

Here’s the planned work for the week of September 24 for East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street)

Work in the median from 3rd to 6th Street (possible lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

• Topsoil and landscaping work
• Installation of new fence

Stage 4 – Reconstruction of the inbound lanes from 6th Street to Marquette Street:

• Water main construction from Johnson to Marquette Street
• Sanitary sewer construction from Johnson to Marquette Street
• Storm sewer construction from Dayton to Johnson Street
• Grading and base course from North Street to Oak Street
• Electrical work
• Bridge work for the new pedestrian structure
• Bridge work for the new roadway bridge
• Work by private utility companies
