Bricklaying and Masonry apprenticeship students constructing a wall for large animal facility

September 19, 2007 | Editor

Students from the bricklaying and masonry apprenticeship program at Commercial Avenue will be constructing a wall at the west side of the large animal facility. The enclosed area will provide space for vet tech staff/students for changing and storage of boots and clothing needed for classes in the building.

Existing lockers adjacent to rooms 192A&B in the main building will be moved in to this new area for secure storage. The students are building a block and brick wall under the existing roof structure. Work will begin September 20 and continue for several weeks on Thursdays and Fridays until complete.
