RE: TEXTBOOK ADOPTIONS

DATE: October 8, 2007

Textbook adoptions and class supply lists are due to the bookstores by NOVEMBER 1.

Due to the holiday closure
Bookstore staff will be ordering books early this semester. Therefore, it is even more critical that we have your textbook adoptions in a timely manner. We ask that you please help us by making textbooks adoptions a priority this October.

It is critical that we receive this information from you to allow us time to prepare the used book buyback list. Used book buyback will be held during final exam week, December 17-21. Please indicate if package items (CD’s, disks, study guides, etc.) will be used for your class. We need to know what parts of the package you will be using to determine what parts will need to be turned in at buyback.

Two students benefit from one used book!
Your current student receives cash back at buyback, and your future student saves money purchasing the same book next semester! Accurate and timely information from you provides an opportunity for a successful used book buyback. The bookstores will be buying used books based on the information provided by you.

Please check your mailboxes the week of October 22. We will be distributing blank adoption forms as well as forms generated from our text management system (based on information from prior semesters).

We continue to offer the option of placing your textbook adoptions online for Truax classes. Start by going to the MATC Bookstore webpage. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Faculty.” Fill in the boxes on this page accordingly, and then click “Submit” when finished. Upon submission, you will receive an email confirming your order. If you have any questions please contact the bookstore at (608) 246-6017.
