Memorandum to Faculty regarding teaching troubled students after the Virginia Tech shootings:
Members of the Governor’s Task Force on Campus Safety have been encouraged to share Gary Pavela’s memorandum, which has been edited to reach all of us working in higher education today, particularly faculty. Go to the Truth About Working Together link to learn about Gary Pavela (we have had him as a guest speaker here in the past) and access the crucial information he has to share. On October 9, Pavela is one of two featured speakers for a webinar sponsored by CETL entitled “Responding to Troubled and At‑Risk Students” to be held, in Room 142B from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
