MATC expresses sympathy for Watertown instructor Karen Jaehrling’s loss
October 8, 2007 | EditorMany of you may know Karen Jaehrling, who was an MATC-Watertown faculty member for many years. Karen’s husband, Gerv Jaehrling, passed away yesterday afternoon, October 2, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
The visitation for Gerv is Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Schmutzler-Vick Funeral Home in Watertown. Rosary is at 7:30 p.m. There will also be an hour of visitation at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at St. Bernard’s, and if anyone would care to donate a dessert, the family would greatly appreciate it.
