Student Veterinary group (WSALAVT) wants photos for 2008 pets calendar
October 31, 2007 | EditorThe Wisconsin Student Association of Laboratory Animal & Veterinary Technicians (WSALAVT) is creating a 2008 calendar composed of pet pictures submitted by students, staff and faculty at MATC.
We will accept one pet picture per person. Please provide your name, what you do at MATC, your pet’s name, and a fun or interesting fact about your pet.
You can hand in a hardcopy or send a digital picture to petcalendar2008@gmail.com. A release form will need to be signed by anyone who submits a picture(digital or not). Release forms are available at the STUDENT LIFE OFFICE which is also where photographs may be dropped off. We will not accept professional pictures.
The WSALAVT Executive Committee will select 12 winning pictures. All winners will receive a free calendar. The teaching animals of the Vet Tech/LAT programs at MATC Truax, which are available for adoption, will also be featured. Anyone who adopts an animal is able to purchase a calendar for 50 percent off.
THE DUE DATE FOR PICTURE SUBMISSION IS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 9. We intend to make calendars available before Christmas.
