MATC Mitby Theater will host a performance of “The Bachelors” by The Milwaukee Repertory Theater on February 16 at 8 p.m.
About “The Bachelors”
Book and lyrics by Fred Alley; music by James Kaplan. Story by Fred Alley and James Kaplan
The hit musical from the duo that brought us “Guys on Ice” comes to the Mitby for one night only. The story: Two thirty‑something bachelors inhabit a cave‑like apartment in Madison, Wisconsin, basking in a blissful state of extended adolescence. One night, they innocently order out for pizza, never expecting the delivery girl to be the reincarnation of a woman they both wronged in a previous lifetime. Welcome to “The Bachelors.” This entertaining musical is the final installment of a musical trilogy that includes the smash hits “Guys on Ice” and “Lumberjacks in Love.”
A pre‑show dinner, prepared by the MATC Connoisseur’s Club, under the direction of Chef John Johnson, also is available. Dinner service begins at 6:30 p.m.
