A new Madison Area Technical College program is putting more people on the path toward jobs in the area’s growing biotech and drug development industry. The Lab Animal Caretaker Program began in 2007, funded by a $1.9 million community-based job training grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, said Marla Gamoran, MATC’s director of business, industry and community services.
