Yahara Journal Writing Contest

Students are encouraged to enter Yahara Journal spring semester writing contest (PDF: 1016KB). Entries will be accepted through Friday, March 14. Students may submit up to five items for the contest. Short stories, poetry, dramas, and other creative written work will be accepted. All submissions should be type‑written and less than 10 pages of double‑spaced type. Email entries to yaharajournal@matcmadison.edu or bring them to the Student Life Office, Truax, Room 140, and Downtown, Room D237. We will award $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place.
Winners will be notified by April 9 and recognized at our May 2 book release celebration. A list of winners from the Fall 2007 contest are posted on the Yahara Journal web site. If you have any questions, please call (608) 246‑6576.
