April is Mathematics Awareness Month! Join MATC Math Club to celebrate!
April 2, 2008 | EditorJoin us in celebrating Mathematices Awareness Month 2008 on Friday, April 18 at 9 a.m., in the Mitby Theater.
“Lingo: It’s Not Just Words” lecture by Prof. Dale Buske, St. Cloud State University, MN, will be followed by our popular “Who Wants to be a Super Mathematician,” a friendly math competition for high school students at 10:30 a.m. in the Mitby Theater.
Participating schools are: De Forest, Edgewood, Fort Atkinson, Homestead, Jefferson, Madison East, Madison Memorial, Marshall, Pardeeville, Reedsburg, Rufus King and Waunakee.
At noon in Room 129 B-C listen to African drums performed by Spectrum Percussion Trio, UW‑Madison
