AQIP Quality Checkup Open Forum & Exit Meetings
April 18, 2008 | EditorYou are invited! MATC has engaged in all AQIP processes (Strategy Forum, Annual Updates, Systems Portfolio and Appraisals, and Quality Checkup visits) for a seven-year period. Throughout this period, the organization works collaboratively with AQIP to ensure that MATC is committed to quality improvement as well as its compliance with the Higher Learning Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
This is where you come in….
MATC’s Quality Checkup visit will be on April 23, 24, and 25, 2008. The Quality Checkup requires at least two evaluators to conduct a site visit and to review relevant organizational and AQIP material. A variety of meetings have been scheduled with the visitors, Dr. Maura Abrahamson, Morton College in Cicero, IL, and Dr. Linda Wild, Southwestern Community College in Creston, IA. The meetings offer opportunities for the visitors to interact with personnel from MATC to assess the strength and direction of our commitment to quality improvement.
We invite you to attend the Open Forum and Listening Session (WORD: 36KB) to be held on April 25 from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-noon in the Student Lounge of the Truax campus (this is a change from an early announcement). No preparation is necessary. The visitors will lead the discussion.
Please contact Kelly Schulte if you plan to attend one or both meetings. We are committed to quality improvement and hope that you are able to share in the experience. Be sure to visit the MATC AQIP webpage for additional AQIP information.
