MATC Matters

Work to finish East Washington Avenue (Second Street to Marquette Street) continues.

Work includes:

• Completion of the pedestrian bridge over East Washington Avenue at the Starkweather Creek
• Completion of bike path from East Washington Avenue to Commercial Avenue
• Median construction including topsoil, sod, architectural concrete, trees, shrubs and perennials
• Street tree plantings
• Final Pavement marking
• Cleanup of various items

Marquette Street will be closed at 7am on Thursday April 24th, and will re-open Monday morning April 28 for concrete paving.
Off-Peak Lane closures will continue over the next couple of weeks as the contractor landscapes the median.
