MATC Marketing Club Wraps up Winning Year-International Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, brings eight winners!

Eight MATC students were among the top winners at the 47th Annual International Career Development Conference held April 11-16 in Atlanta. The event brought together almost 2,000 students from the US, Canada and Puerto Rico

Students competed in a variety of business and marketing role plays and simulations. Additionally, several corporate sponsors, including Piper Jaffray, Sears, Finish Line and Foot Locker offered paid competitions, seminars and recruitment opportunities for the students.

MATC’s Marketing Club is part of Delta Epsilon Chi, the College level of DECA, the national organization of Marketing and Business Students. This event was the third and final in three competitions this semester. A Regional Competition was held in Waukesha in February where MATC students also dominated in the top areas of their categories. The State Competition was in March in Madison and brought 24 awards to MATC students.

The MATC Marketing Club is made up of students in Marketing, Fashion Marketing and Small Business Entrepreneurship programs.
