The MATC Environmental Sustainability Alliance (MESA), is exploring the possibility of various funding options for purchasing clean power (wind and solar) at MATC district facilities. If implemented, clean power purchasing would help reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere. This is a crucial step for MATC to meet our obligations under the American College and University President’s Climate Commitment.
MESA is also considering a range of other projects that would increase the environmental sustainability of the college in general.
If you have not already done so, please click on the survey link to register the level of your support for a clean power purchase and other initiatives. The survey is very short-three quick questions. A similar questionnaire is being administered with MATC students.
