MATC Performing Arts is proud to present Jody Davidson’s stage adaptation of Laura Numeroff’s best-selling children’s book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie for a limited run this summer. The story is that of a little boy who is spending his first afternoon all alone at home and all he wants is to read his favorite comic book, Jungleman: Beastmaster of the Amazon in peace.
He’s all set to read when who should come along but a tiny, hungry little mouse. The little mouse won’t be a bother at all if she could just have something to eat…like a cookie…and maybe a glass of milk to wash it down…and then maybe a straw…and some crayons…and…and…and…
Join us for a joyful misadventure that is sure to delight theatre-goers of all ages! Performances will be in the MATC Studio Theater (Room 206) on Aug. 2, 3, 9 and 10. Performance times are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. For tickets, contact the Mitby Theater Box Office (open this summer MWF 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.) at 243-4000. Tickets are $7 each or purchase a family four pack for $25.
