On Wednesday, July 30, MATC will sponsor a solar-powered car wash to benefit flood victims at MATC and in the community. Middle-school students and MATC volunteers will wash cars using a solar-powered car wash apparatus provided by Tom Kaminski, industrial maintenance instructor.
The car wash will be held on the Wright Street side of the Truax campus in the driveway in front of the Mitby Theater and Redsten Gym from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donations of any level will be accepted and divided evenly between the MATC Foundation’s Flood Fund and the American Red Cross to help local flood victims. Help your coworkers and the community while experiencing a “green” alternative and get a pair of free sunglasses!
Volunteers are needed. If you’d like to help out, contact Bill Bessette at 246-6127.
