Gretchen Arneson

Gretchen was an optician before coming to MATC. In fact, she recently returned from Africa, where she performed eye exams and did other volunteer work. If her name sounds familiar, it’s because Gretchen used to work at MATC’s downtown enrollment center. Now a recruiter, she’s looking forward to helping high school and adult students explore their career options. When Gretchen is not at work, you can find her biking around town, playing ultimate Frisbee and salsa dancing the night away.

Phil Gasper

Phil has taught philosophy for more than 20 years, the last 13 at Notre Dame De Namur University in California. He’s excited to be at MATC and is looking forward to working with faculty, CETL and the various centers to make teaching at the college even better. When he’s not at work, Phil likes to go exploring with his 5-year-old son, Thomas.

Kelly Moehling

Kelly worked 24 years in the public relations field before joining MATC. She enjoys the variety of her job, her co-workers and talking to new people every day. When she’s not at work, Kelly can be found cheering on her three high school children at sporting events, as well as camping, biking, hiking and planning family vacations.

Jason Wiedenhoeft
Senior Recruitment Coordinator

Jason is no stranger to higher education. He previously worked as the Student Life Coordinator at Blackhawk Technical College in Janesville. Before that, he was a graduate assistant in the Leadership Development office at UW-Whitewater. Jason says he really enjoys the variety of his new job. One day he’s giving presentations to high school students, and the next he’s attending career or job fairs. When not at work, Jason can be found riding his bike or hanging out with his wife in Milwaukee.
