August 8, 2008 | Editor
Business technology faculty members June Sarbacker, CPS, and Diane Kosharek presented at the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) convention and educational forum in New Orleans, which annually draws 2,000 attendees. MATC is a long-time partner with IAAP, offering the nation’s first online Administrative Assistant Associate in Science Degree program to IAAP members as well as to district residents.
Susan Fenner, Ph.D., IAAP education and professional development manager,
saluted MATC expressing “how much IAAP values our strong relationship with MATC and MATC’s ongoing support of our IAAP members’ educational needs.”
In addition to presenting the workshop “Earn An Associate in Science Degree
Totally Online,” June and Diane staffed an exposition hall booth and made face-to-face contact with many MATC online program students from across the United States and beyond. MATC online students who were in attendance also gathered at a luncheon to meet their fellow “real world smartâ€? online classmates, degree candidates and alumni.
Information on MATC’s online AA program, the IAAP MATC partnership, and Office 2007 courses at MATC can be found on the Business Technology Department webpage.
