Reporting Program student awarded scholarship
August 18, 2008 | EditorCarly Sorenson, second‑year judicial reporting program student, is the winner of the $1,000 Gramann Reporting Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded annually to an MATC reporting program student who has completed the first year of the program based on academic achievement and the ability to record the spoken word at over 100 words per minute. Carly was profiled in a recent issue of The Wisconsin Reporter (PDF: 200KB).
The scholarship is sponsored by Gramann Reporting Ltd. Robert Gramman, president, is a member of MATC’s Judicial Reporting and Broadcast Captioning Program Advisory Committee.
