The MATC-COE Engineering Transfer Blueprint

UW–Madison was awarded funding for their Committee on Baccalaureate Expansion (COBE) proposal submitted March 1, 2008. MATC is a subgrantee in the proposal and will receive approximately $80,062 over the next two years to collaborate with the UW–College of Engineering to increase the number of students who transfer from MATC and obtain baccalaureate degrees in engineering at UW–Madison.

The project titled, The MATC-COE Engineering Transfer Blueprint is a four-pronged strategy to put in place the mechanisms that will ultimately increase the number of students who begin at MATC and then transfer and complete baccalaureate degrees in engineering at UW-Madison’s College of Engineering (COE). Please see the attached proposal summary for further details.

Congratulations to David Shonkwiler, Veronica Delcourt, Ken Starkman, Ken Walz, Claudia Griesbach, and Amy Brown who worked with UW–Madison to draft the proposal.
