The Yahara Journal hosts poetry reading by Robbie Telfer

The Yahara Journal and the MATC Creative Writing Department will hold a poetry reading featuring Robbie Telfer on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 2 p.m. in the Truax Studio Theater, Room 206. The event is free and open to the public.
A poetry slam performer, Telfer is the Performances Manager for Young Chicago Authors, a nonprofit organization that gives creative writing and performance opportunities to Chicago teens.
Telfer is the first of four guest authors who will share their work with MATC students this year. The guest author series was made possible by an MATC Foundation Grant.
