Lee Denim Day is on Friday, October 3, 2008.
Lee National Denim Day is one of the largest single-day fundraisers and has raised more than $70 million in the fight against breast cancer. On October 3, join the MATC community by putting on your jeans and making a minimum $5 contribution to the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).
Most people have been touched by breast cancer in some way; whether it be a family member, a friend, or even ourselves. On Lee National Denim Day you can fight back by wearing denim and making a contribution that will support the work of the Women’s Cancer Program:
• Funding Lee laboratories nationwide to find more effective, less toxic breast cancer treatments,
• Developing a blood test for earlier detection of breast cancer when survival rates are highest,
• Helping the National Breast Cancer Coalition create online and print resources about breast cancer, and train additional advocates to educate patients and their families about new clinical trials.
