Chess Tournament
October 30, 2008 | wbessetteThe MATC Chess Club is sponsoring a chess tournament in a ladder format for the remainder of the Fall 2008 semester.
All MATC students, staff and faculty are welcome to join the club chess tournament for free! Players can challenge others at anytime to try to gain positions on the “ladder”. Tournament play runs through Monday, December 8, 2008, and new players can register to join the tournament anytime. Small prizes are offered
for the final club champion, best game, and most improved.

Regular club meetings are held Wednesdays 1:30-4 p.m. in the Truax cafeteria, but players may participate
in the tournament without attending club meetings.
