Clarion Wins National Awards

Congratulations to The Clarion newspaper staff!

The Clarion received two national awards at the recent Associated Collegiate Press National College Media Convention held in Kansas City.

The Clarion received a second-place award in “Best of Show” and a third-place award for ”Special Sections.” Their winning entries were the first issue of the school year and the recently published election section.

Students who attended the conference with Clarion advisor Doug Kirchberg were: Editor-in-Chief Kim Ellingson, News Editor Andrew Sicari, Arts & Cultures Editor Meghan Carpenter, Design Director Lacy Kowalkowski and Office Manager Chris Johll.
