You’re invited to the MATC Math Club’s 79th monthly presentation entitled “Fibonacci Trees: A Dream Come True.”
You may think that the pattern of twigs and branches on trees has no order, but just the opposite is true. The pattern of branches of many plants follows an amazing system called the Fibonacci series, named after a thirteenth century investigator by the name of Fibonacci.
Learn more about this amazing phenomenon at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, in room T-209. The guest speaker will be Benjamin Collins, a professor at UW-Platteville.
