Commencement Feedback
December 22, 2008 | wbessetteThanks to everyone who helped make Thursday’s (Dec. 19) commencement a big success.
Commencement is a time for students, their families and the campus community to celebrate and reflect upon their accomplishments at Madison Area Technical College. We had about 200 graduates attended the ceremony despite an approaching snowstorm.
For those of you who attended or watched live on the internet we hope that you found the ceremony to be one of both dignity and celebration. If you didn’t have a chance to attend though would have liked to experience the ceremony, it’s not too late.
For the next 30 days the ceremony can be viewed on MATC’s website.
For those of you that were in attendance, there are still opportunities to
enhance the ceremony for the future and hope that you won’t hesitate to share your thoughts. If you saw things that created problems or didn’t work well, we would like to hear from you so that we don’t have the
same problems in the future. At the same time we would ask that you share features of the ceremony that went well and should be continued.
Again, thank you for your participation, assistance. We look forward to your involvement in the May ceremony taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center.
