MATC Matters

Madison Area Technical College is now a premium institutional member of the Sloan Consortium (Sloan-C). Sloan-C is a consortium of organizations and institutions committed to quality online learning. Sloan-C has a variety of information services, events, and publications that can help in the improvement and development of online and hybrid courses. 

All members of the MATC Academic Community can find benefits from this membership. To access Sloan-C resources, create a guest account under MATC and follow these steps:

1. Indicate the type of organization you are.
2. Type in the name of your institution exactly as it was in your registration. This will ensure that your account is associated with your institution’s membership. The search will not  accept abbreviated names. The full name of the institution must be typed out. In our case, Madison Area Technical College.
3. Click on the “select� link next to your institution’s name.
4. Fill in your personal information and submit.  Please use your matcmadison.edu email address. Once registration has been submitted, a confirmation e-mail to activate your account will be sent to the address provided.
