We’re sad to tell you longtime MATC nursing instructor
Karen Mumford Moser has died. Here is her obituary:

Karen Mumford Moser, 66, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2009, in HospiceCare, Madison. Born to Laurence and Mildred (Lewindauski) Perry, she grew up in Milwaukee and attended Pulaski High School. She received RN, MSN degrees at UW and went on to a lengthy career teaching nursing at MATC. She is survived by husband, John; son, Kevin Mumford; two stepsons, John (Jennifer) and Matthew (Jill) Moser; dear
sister-in-law, Vernadeen; and niece, Diane (Doug) Kopacz. Karen was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Vicki; and two brothers, Laurence and Louis (Vernadeen) Perry. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009, at 3 p.m. at FIRST UNITARIAN SOCIETY, 900 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI 53705.
