The WolfPack has some exciting news to share.

MATC outfielder Chris Barker has earned a 2009 NJCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award for his outstanding .978 fielding percentage. Barker led MATC in hitting this past season and is currently playing for the Madison Mallards. Congratulations to Chris, as well as MATC Baseball Coach Mike Davenport and Assistant Coach C.J. Thieleke
(who is managing Chris and the Mallards this summer).

Also, future MATC Golfer Andrew Steinhofer won the Ray Fischer Amateur Championship at the Riverside Golf Course in Janesville. One of the players Steinhofer defeated was Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, who is a Wisconsin native. MATC Golf Coach Jim Thomas must have a big smile on his face.
