MATC Instructor Wins Awards
July 7, 2009 | wbessetteMATC English instructor Matthew Guenette has a way with words.
His book Sudden Anthem received a 2009 Outstanding Achievement in Poetry award from the Wisconsin Library Association.
Matthew was also named the 2009 Hessen-Wisconsin Writer and has been invited to stay in Wiesbaden, Germany for three months. Matthew was selected from a large number of applicants by a committee of UW-Madison faculty, representatives of the Hessen-Wisconsin Society, the Wisconsin Arts Board, the Wisconsin Academy of Arts, Letters and Sciences, and the Center for the Humanities.
This is another wonderful example of the outstanding faculty we have at MATC!
