MATC is pleased to include two major software companies in our Partnership for Educational Progress (PEP) Program.

Planit Solutions has provided the Cabinetmaking and Millwork Program with its latest version of Alphacam for use in our training program. Alphacam is a leading CAD/CAM software solution for the Woodworking industry. This software is used in the manufacture of many types of components, from simple routed parts to complex,
5-axis furniture components.

A second company, Compass Software GmbH, from Germany, has provided their stair design and manufacturing software for student use. This highly-specialized software allows users to quickly design and present 3-D virtual models of stair assemblies, complete with all associated machining data. Compass can also be used in conjunction with Alphacam.

The combined value of these software donations is $87,875. We’re grateful for their willingness to make these cutting edge products available for our students.
